UK loses another gambling minister as Damian Collins resigns

Since the resignation of Minister of Gambling Policy Damian Collins, the future of the United Kingdom's long-awaited gambling review has been called into question.

Because of the resignation of Damian Collins, the responsible minister of gambling policy, the long-awaited gambling review in the UK is once again in doubt.

Since Chris Philp's resignation as minister of tech and the digital economy in July, Collins, the MP for Folkestone and Hythe, has held the position.

As a result of Rishi Sunak's nomination as prime minister, Collins nevertheless announced his resignation in a statement on Twitter.

Sunak, however, has decided to continue Michelle Donelan as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS).

Before Donelan took over as department head in September after Liz Truss' appointment, Collins worked first for Nadine Dorries throughout his time there working here has been a true delight.
