BMO Global Asset Management (EMEA) UK funds have been rebranded and added to Columbia Threadneedle's portfolio.
The asset management company's rebranding, which was completed in November 2021, unifies all of its savings plans, websites, and legal entities under a single, global brand.
All UK-domiciled funds now begin with the prefix CT instead of the previous BMO and Threadneedle names as part of the integration.
For instance, the CT Global Emerging Markets Growth and Income Fund has replaced the BMO LGM Global Emerging Markets Growth and Income Fund, which had a market cap of £256 million.
The CT prefix will be added to all BMO-branded funds with EU domiciles.
At a later time, the CT prefix will also be adopted by Threadneedle Luxembourg SICAV funds.
Within Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Pyrford International will continue to run independently.
"Bringing our products and strategies under the Columbia Threadneedle Investments global brand is an important step in the integration of BMO GAM (EMEA) into our business," said Nick Ring, CEO of Columbia Threadneedle Investments in EMEA.
"Together we can bring even greater benefits for all our clients: creating deeper research and better investment insights, offering a wider range of investment capabilities, and continuing our responsible investment commitment."
Together, Columbia manages £531 billion across a variety of alternative, fixed-income, and equity strategies.
