Sportradar Partners with Tennis Data Solutions to Expand into Microbetting Sector

Sportradar has announced its plans to expand into the microbetting market through a partnership with Tennis Data Solutions (TDI). This collaboration will leverage AI technology to enable betting on specific, short-term outcomes within a game. The partnership is designed to enhance Sportradar’s market offerings by utilizing data from TDI, allowing players to wager on various in-game events such as the next break point, whether the next serve will be an ace, a rally or a double fault, total points per shot, all point outcomes, and the type of last stroke in a rally (forehand, backhand, volley, serve, or return). This expansion is expected to generate 1,500 new betting options per match.

Additionally, Sportradar aims to capitalize on its experience with microbetting in football and table tennis as it further penetrates the tennis betting market. The company has also revealed plans to introduce new micro-market options for other major sports, including American football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey, in the near future.

Karl Danzer, SVP Odds Services at Sportradar, commented on the development, stating, “The introduction of micro markets underscores Sportradar’s commitment to leading the industry with advanced proprietary technology to provide clients with unmatched opportunities to engage fans and generate new revenue across hugely popular betting sports like tennis.”

This announcement follows Sportradar’s strong Q2 financial results, released in early August, which reported a company-wide revenue of €278.4 million ($304.2 million), representing a 29% year-on-year increase, with a 59% rise in U.S. revenue. Additionally, Sportradar’s AI simulations recently identified Kansas City as the top contender to win the professional football championship in February 2025.
