Kambi Group Partners with Stake to Deliver Turnkey Sportsbook in Brazil and Beyond

Kambi Group has announced a strategic partnership with Stake, a prominent crypto operator, to provide its online turnkey sportsbook solution. The collaboration initially focuses on the newly regulated sports betting market in Brazil, where Stake has already introduced its real-money, Kambi-powered sportsbook. This agreement also grants Stake access to Kambi’s sportsbook technology for use across the global market.

Stake, a member of the Easygo group, recently secured regulatory approval for a casino and sportsbook license in Brazil. The operator has since taken steps to expand its presence in the market, appointing Thomas Carvalhaes as its Brazil Country Manager and facilitating the entry of TGLab into the nation through a separate agreement earlier this week.

Brais Pena Sanchez, Chief Strategy Officer at Easygo, commented on the partnership, stating, “Launching in the newly regulated market of Brazil is a major milestone for us and we are excited to have partnered with Kambi to leverage their Sportsbook solution to support our global regulated market expansion. Our experience in the region, paired with Kambi’s cutting-edge technology, will allow us to elevate our offering and provide our customers with exciting experiences in Brazil and beyond.”

Brazil’s gaming sector continues to grow, with recent reports confirming the issuance of 68 online gaming licenses and 67 sports betting licenses.

For Kambi, this partnership represents another step into the Brazilian market, following its October agreement to supply its Odds Feed+ product to local daily fantasy sports operator Rei do Pitaco. Shortly after that deal, Kambi released its Q3 2024 financial results, reporting revenue of €43 million ($44.3 million), a 2% year-on-year increase.

Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi Group, expressed optimism about the collaboration, saying, “Kambi has a proud history of driving growth for operators in regulated markets around the world, and we look forward to doing similar for Stake. Kambi’s advanced and compliant technology enables operators to offer a leading sportsbook product, even within highly complex frameworks, so I’m excited to see what Kambi and Stake can achieve together in Brazil and other regulated markets.”

The partnership marks a significant development for both Stake and Kambi, as they aim to capitalize on the opportunities presented by Brazil’s expanding gaming and sports betting landscape while exploring further growth in global markets.
